Ladygate Matches

On Friday 5th May, a cold Friday evening, Eastcote entertained Ladygate in their first game in the 2017 C&T league.
The opening 6 ends saw Ladygate adapt to Eastcote’s green far quicker than the home team and at the end of the 6th they were leading 24-12.
The next 6 ends were very even, ending with the score 25-35 in Ladygate’s favour.
Eastcote then got their act together; after the 16th end the home team lead 44-42. With two ends to go the result was in the balance.
Ladygate edged the 17th, and with one end remaining the score was 45-45. The result of the final end was 4-2 in Ladygate’s favour giving them overall victory by 49-47.
In the friendly fixture played on the same evening Eastcote trailed until the 12th end but a good performance in the last 7 ends saw them victorious 33-27.
