President's Day tournament

Another lovely day saw the EBC faithful gather for a spider competition for the traditional bottle of whisky, followed by a bowls tournament, and concluding with a barbecue.
Despite President Mark's best efforts,
the spider whisky was won by that lovable
rogue, young Tommy Forman.

The Bowls tournament runners up
team comprised Mike Milward
Jan Taylor, Phyllis Playfoot & Dave
Gibbons .
The tournament winners team were Ray
Brooks, Colin Darnell, Paul Sully &
Anne Sutherland.
Again we say many thanks to President Mark (especially thanks for all the cakes!) and competitions secretary Diane for another great day, and to all who helped, expecially the wine waiter (not a drop spilled, Ray!), and to Mike Milward for all the pictures (see all pics in Photo Gallery, captions John Armstrong).
