Sad news about Arthur

"I have some sad news to share - my Dad passed away on Sunday evening. No words can say how much I will miss him - as you all know, he was my best friend in the world for my entire life and he of course always will be.

Dad's passing was not virus-related, it was just his time. Gill is being very supportive -  as you can imagine I personally am devastated to have lost him, not having him at the end of the rink telling me how short my last bowls was will be very odd for me.

I know you were all so very kind to Dad, he loved coming to watch us play bowls. Dad's party was so wonderful for him, he had such a wonderful day; I would again like to thank you for making his special day even more special.

I would ask you not to send sympathy cards. I do not want you going to the shops and taking any unnecessary risks just for the sake of a card, and we truly know that you cared for Dad.

I hope after all this madness we can get back to bowling as soon as possible.

Regards

Paul Hutchinson"
