Smokeless Mixed Drawn Pairs 2018

Last year we had smoke from a bonfire but this year we had, thanks to Diane, a great competition ending with a very closely fought final on a day free of rain (and smoke!).
The finalists played 6 ends which finished 4 all. The play off end went to the final ball and Jan Metcalf and Graham Aylett squeaked a victory over Diane Hallam and Paul Sully - well played all!
The day finished with a Bring A Plate meal, punctuated by Mike, assisted by Diane, spreading happiness carrying out the third 100 Club draw of the season, and the indefatigble Jenny (we're going to miss you next year!) also making some people happy with Raffle prizes.
