The 2018 AGM on Friday, 23rd February saw major changes to the Club's Committee, but also some welcome continuity.The full minutes of the meeting can be viewed here.
Some 57 members witnessed the change in Presidency from Jim Langley to Mark Hallam, who relinquished the Club's Captaincy to Jan Rush. Jan Budd stood down as Secretary (with Mark stating he "was gutted to see her go"), and we welcomed Geoffrey Millman's return to the Committee in her place. There is currently no Ladies Captain.
Other Committee members continue, including Ray Cole as Social Secretary, but Mark on behalf of Ray made clear the need for all members to be more involved and getting 'hands on' with ideas for and organising social activities which both provide much enjoyment for members and make money for the club.
The main change in the appointment of Officers was Dave Gibbons as the Club's Vice-Captain to provide valuable support to the Captain and mid-week Captains.

Amongst other business, the requirement to play club matches in order to participate in Club internal competitions was deleted from the Constitution and no longer applies.
