Vets League Eastcote 'B' - Down but not out!

As you can see below, the Eastcote 'B' team ended the 2017 season at the bottom of the Division 3 table - the bottom division of the Harrow & District Bowling Association's Veterans' League !

As with all these things, the results don't show the true story. We had an enjoyable time and were complimented on the warm welcome that we gave to a number of the clubs taking part. We were able to provide teas for all our visitors and I would like to thank all those who gave of their time to help out.
We enjoyed our matches but unfortunately we gave away ten points because we were unable to field a full team. I believe a number of members do not know we take part in the league and I am hopeful that if we were to use a different coloured paper people may realise that it relates to a different team to the Vets League 2017 Champions, the Eastcote 'A' team!
Next year, next year......... .
