Markers Awareness course

From Colin Williams, Match Secretary, Coach & Umpire extraordinaire:

"On Saturday 12th April, I will be holding a Markers Awareness Course. Starting at 11.00, it should finish by 12.30 or before. Designed to suit all playing members of the Club no matter your ability at marking, even those who think they know it all will have something to learn. This far in advance we do not know what the weather will be, so it has been designed to be held indoors if necessary, but don't forget your bowling shoes in case we can get onto the Green.

It is hoped that the majority of playing members will attend, as it gives us an opportunity to meet up before the start of the season and hopefully learn something that will be useful when you are playing.

After the course a bite to eat (filled rolls, or similar) and a drink will be available. See you there!"
