WINTER EVENTS AT EASTCOTE BOWLING CLUB

Working Party Saturday 7th October 2023: Many tasks to do.There are also various other tasks that need completing during the winter months which will require the help of many. List and dates to be circulated.

Short Mat Bowls: From October through to April, sessions will start at 2.00pm every Monday and Thursday. Cost is £2 per session.

Crib: The dates as per the list below. If you have never played but would like to try just arrive, if you have a friend who would like to play send them along. Cost £2.00 per session with a tea and biscuit included.

Film Nights: First Evening on Saturday 30th September 2023. Keep your ears and eyes open on all platforms for the dates and time of other evenings

Christmas Party:     Saturday 9th December 2023. Further details to follow

Quiz Night: :Saturday TBC. Get your names on the list {when posted) in the clubhouse and come and show your knowledge (or how much you have forgotten!).

Bingo.   First calling Friday 6th October 2023 6.00pm for 6.30. Come and meet the two fat ladies, get doctors’ orders, and a bowlful of Heinz 57. See previous email or the event calendar for further details.

Presentation Evening:   Saturday 25th November 2023. List and menu choices in the Edwards Pavilion. Even if you were not a winner come to congratulate those who were.

Indoor Fixtures (external matches): The sign-upsheets are on the board. Support your club and put your names down before the end of the season, it makes the captains difficult life easier.
