EBC Update: Ray Cole

Ray Cole passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, 21st June, after, we know, a very long battle with health issues.
Ray was a staunch supporter and hard-working member of the Club, a former Social Secretary, and right to the end he and wife Chris were closely involved in the many issues involving the Club’s drinks supplies. He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with Chris and family at this difficult time.
Chris Cole now writes:
“Just to let you know that Ray’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, 12th July 2023 at 11.30am in the East Chapel of Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip HA4 7SJ.
This will be followed by a celebration of Ray’s life at the Middlesex Stadium, 3 Breakspear Road, Ruislip HA4 7SB. Everyone is welcome but please let me know for catering purposes by Friday, 7th July, an indication of how many members will be attending – contact details are telephone: 020 8866 4266, or email: chris.52.ray@virginmedia.com.
Family flowers only on the day please, but at Ray’s request, donations to The Michael Sobell Hospice in memory of Ray would be greatly appreciated, as he was so well looked after during his final days.”
