Well organised, Diane, thank you for another enjoyable tournament!
For the first May Bank holiday we had quite a bit of cloud but no rain as the red and green teams battled for the trophy.
Teams of 3 played round-robin triples against teams of the opposing colour, with the top-scoring teams of each colour fighting it out to win the tournament. Except in this case two Green teams tied on +18 - Steve Moss, Paul Hutch and Colin Darnell and the other Mike Milward, Linda Smith and John Nott.
After a 1 end play off (which turned into two ends as the first end also resulted in a draw!) Steve Moss, Paul Hutch and Colin Darnell were the victors. They went on to beat the top Red team of Linda Clarke, Rod Curtiss and Gil Davies 13 - 3 in the final.Well done, all!
