Mixed Drawn Pairs July 2017

The Sunday 23rd July competition started at 2pm in cloud (which soon became sunshine) with 32 hopeful contestants, and ended with two clear winners.
Thanks to Diane Hallam for organising - not easy when you have 16 pairs playing a nine-end four-bowl match, before switching opponents and rinks, and doing it again, then switching again and doing it for the third and final time! The winning pair would be the pair with highest accumulated total of shots for.
There was a lot of good bowling (and some bad jokes)....
Despite a short diversion caused by a neighbour's bonfire being a bit intrusive.......
... we finished the afternoon with a close run final between Jan Taylor/Geoff Smith and Janet Brooks/Mike Milward, Congratulation to Janet and Mike for winning 6-4.
